Me: But I get books out of the library! I don’t buy books.
Geoff: You bought a book last week.
Me: Yeah, I was hoping you didn’t notice that.
Geoff: Didn’t you actually buy two books last week?

BUY ALL THE BOOKS ALWAYS! (thank goodness for public libraries, or my house would be even more overflowing than it already is…)

I feel that even with the public library, my house is going to overflow in any case. Sometimes I buy books just because I feel sad for them. Like there was this Toni Morrison book for three years at the Salvation Army and I finally bought it because no one else would and I don’t even like Toni Morrison but now I have it taking up space because it was lonely.
