At some point in the past and on my old blog, I decided to read a book for every country in the world – either taking place in said country or written by someone who identifies with said country (fiction) or about said country (non-fiction). There are 206 sovereign states, plus protectorates, external territories, and disputed lands that I’ll probably consider countries (i.e. Puerto Rico, Tahiti, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Bermuda, etc.). I will update the list as I read books from the countries.
Last update: January 30, 2015, Egypt.
I have read books for the following countries:
- Afghanistan
- Australia
- Austria
- Azerbaijan
- Burma
